All holiday properties must be in good decorative order throughout, with good quality furniture, furnishings, flooring and curtains. Above all it must be spotlessly clean with adequate heating, lighting and ventilation in every room.

Details/leaflets for local pubs, restaurants, takeaways, local attractions and events Operating instructions booklets for all household appliances. Guide to Operating instructions for gas central heating/timer clock, lighting, water supply, bin day, change over times, parking and general rules of the house etc. List of contact names and numbers in case occupiers need to call owners/key holders. A list of local Doctors, Dentist, emergency services numbers etc. A visitors’ book for comments and a pack of cards, games, books, magazines, colouring books and pens etc.

Dining table and chairs to seat the number of persons that your holiday rental property sleeps, highchair where children under 3 are catered for
KITCHEN
Fitted kitchen units offering adequate storage of food and kitchen pans etc., Fridge with freezer compartment/separate freezer, gas/electric cooker, microwave, washing machine, cleaning materials
BEDROOMS
Double bed for master bedroom, twin beds for all other rooms, adult size (3ft) bunk beds where space is lacking, at least one wardrobe, one set of drawers and one bedside cabinet per person with a bedside lamp per person (wall mounted shelf and wall mounted light where space is lacking), mirror, coat hangers, travel cot where children under 3 are catered for and an alarm clock.
BATHROOMS
Bath ideally with shower over/separate shower cubicle, basin, W.C., bin
GARDENS
Garden table and chairs to seat the amount of people that your property sleeps, if there is no garden but a balcony then adequate seating is necessary. Please note: Gardens must be maintained at all times, so it is a good idea to stock it with perennial plants and shrubs that require infrequent ‘looking after’ for example minimal watering.

Information
It is essential that all crockery, cutlery, glasses should be matching with no cracks or stains and should be dishwasher proof where a dishwasher is supplied (Extra set of crockery etc., will be needed to fill dishwasher). Owners should also buy items which can be easily replaced and matched, or buy extra at time of purchase to allow for the odd breakage. Remember that the number of persons that your holiday property sleeps will determine the number of each item you will need to purchase.
