Property Description

Oakhurst is located about half a mile south of Marchwood on the road to Hythe. It is on the fringes of the New Forest and within the area proposed for the new National Park. You can walk to Hythe, where there is a regular ferry service to Southampton, along a country lane and a public footpath via Hythe marina. Hythe and Marchwood have numerous shops, restaurants, pubs and local amenities. The New Forest has obvious attractions such as the ponies and the picturesque village of Beaulieu which is about 5 miles away. Southampton is a major city and port with several new shopping centres and a Premier League football team.


Accommodation

The accommodation comprises: Kitchen which has been completely rebuilt with twin electric ovens and a gas hob, an American style fridge/freezer and a drinks cooler. There is also a breakfast bar and a separate diing table, washing machine and dryer. The lounge has an open fireplace and seating for 9 people and a pool table and in the dining room there is seating for 10 people. There are four bathrooms, one of which has a shower enclosure (hand towels provided but please bring own bath and shower towels). There are five bedrooms to sleep a max. of twelve people comprising: 3 doubles, 1 twin bedroom and 1room with a double and twin beds. For entertainment there is a DVD, cd, radio, stereo system and tv.
