Property Description
Spinnaker house is located very close to Hythe Village and is available for self catering holidays, holiday rentals, short term rentals and short breaks. The house is only a short drive away from The New Forest, boasting beautiful : Exbury, Lyndhurst, Lymington and Beaulieu to name but a few. Hythe is 'where the forest meets the sea' and the Solent is very close to this property providing magnificent sights of the many famous Cruise Ships, Shipping Movements and occassionally the Tall Ships.

The accommodation is spread over three floors and comprises: Ground floor; modern beech wood shaker kitchen with integral appliances. Dining area with table and chairs, garage that has been adapted as a hobby/play room. Downstairs w.c, small patio area and allocated parking space to rear. Middle floor; Sitting room furnished with comfortable sofas and chairs, small dining table and chairs. Family bathroom with seperate shower cubicle and bath. Twin bedroom with balcony. Single bedrrom. Top floor: Two double bedrooms, both with en-suite shower rooms.
Travel Info & Local Advice
Spinnaker House is ideally located for Holidays in The New Forest, Southampton and surrounding areas. During the summer months there is a New Forest Tour Bus that travels around the forest allowing its passengers to take in the sights from the open top. Southampton City Centre, home of the Boat Show, can be accessed via the Hythe Ferry in 12mins, there is then a free bus to take you to the shops at West Quay Shopping Centre and Southampton Train Station which links London in just over an hour.
Back in Hythe the pace is slow and the locals are friendly. The village is full of individual shops, pubs and restaurants. The Bank Holiday Farmers Markets are a treat and accessibility is not a problem as the village is all on the flat. For the more trendy holiday maker Hythe Marina Village is home to beautiful yachts and power boats which can be viewed whilst enjoying a Pimms in the Salt Bar, or some pasta in the Italian Restaurant La Vista.
Southampton Airport is about a 35mins drive away and the larger Gatwick and Heathrow airports are more than an hours drive away.
The Red Funnel Isle Of Wight Ferries depart from the same place as The Hythe Ferry, Town Quay. The high speed Red Jet is a 20min journey to West Cowes and the car ferry takes about an hour to East Cowes. Cowes hosts the world famous 'Cowes Week' Sailing Festival which attracts scores of people for sailing, socialising and shopping. The end of the week fireworks and display from the Red Arrows are a real treat.
